A boutique craft and gift shop on a Preston city centre side street has closed its doors.
Opened in Autumn 2014 Life’s Little LarksĀ had built a cult following but its owners said an increase in rates forced them to quit Preston.
Helena and Elaine Clarkson said: “We closed at the end of December.
“Unfortunately the rates were upped and that’s what did for us.
“We’d really just love to thank everyone who made, browsed or bought.
“We loved being a part of Preston and were blown away by all the positive people we met.
“We are sad to be going but enjoyed the journey and we can’t thank those who made it possible enough.”
