Holocaust Memorial Day in Preston: The Power of Good film to be screened

A film screening is to take place in Preston as part of Holocaust Memorial Day.

The Power of Good, featuring Sir Nicholas Winton, will be shown at the Mitchell and Kenyon Cinema at the University of Central Lancashire’s Foster Building.

Disability Equality North West, based in Preston, are putting on the showing.

The film is the story of how Winton in 1939 saved the lives of 669 children, mostly Jewish, from the Nazis.

Tickets for the showing are free but you should register in advance via Eventbrite.

The showing runs from 6pm to 9pm on Wednesday 27 January.
