Fire crews have kept a house in Fulwood dry after a risk of flash flooding.

Crews from Fulwood raced to the property in Garstang Road, close to the Broughton roundabout, on Sunday morning.

Heavy rainfall during the early hours of Sunday triggered reports of flash flooding around 7.50am.

Firefighters used a portable pump to pump the water away.

They were on the scene for around 45 minutes.
