Update: Preston Police confirm they have found Doreen Smithson.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for a woman missing from her home in Hutton.

Doreen Smithson, 64, was last seen at an address in Ratten Lane on Sunday morning.

She is understood to be driving round in a blue Saab convertible car with the registration MX12 OYU.

Update: Police have now found Doreen’s car.

Her family are very concerned for her welfare and she could be anywhere in the county.

Insp Wendy Fitzgerald of Preston Police said: “If you have seen Mrs Smithson or know of her whereabouts please get in touch with us at your earliest opportunity.”

She is described as white, around 5ft 5ins, with dark, curly, bobbed hair and could be wearing a black top, a dark quilted jacket and striped pants.
