A Chinese restaurant in Preston is applying to serve alcohol at a new premises.

X-Kitchen, based in Friargate, wants to be able to provide booze from 5pm to 11pm every day of the week.

The restaurant has been picking up a growing fanbase with its traditional Chinese cuisine, and is now expanding to a new premises.

They currently operate from 90-91 Friargate but have applied for a licence at 65 Friargate.

It has a five-star rating on TripAdvisor and has been running since October last year.
