Watch Willow Coppice Christmas lights display and Kidz4Kidz performance

Willow Coppice in Lea was turned into a winter wonderland on Saturday night.

Ben and Gemma Martin put on a Christmas lights show for their neighbours and those from further afield.

Raising money for Derian House Hospice and Kidz4Kidz performance group the 20-minute show included festive music and Santa appearing at a window.

Kidz4Kidz performed two songs on the drive of the Willow Coppice house.

Ben said: “We’re hoping this will become an annual event.

“The inspiration was the death of a local boy AJ passing away. We felt we could do something.”

More than 50 people braved the heavy rain to watch the show.

Youngsters also had their picture taken with Mike the Minion.

So far Ā£240 has been raised online and the total is due to rise once the results of the raffle and donations on the night are added up.
