Sixteen homeless people in Preston got a little gift bag this Christmas from a kind-hearted teenager.
Amy Moloney took to the streets of the city to give to those who face spending the festive season alone.
Video footage shows the angelic Amy making her way through Fishergate and surrounding streets giving out the parcels.
Looks of confusion, delight and surprise are given by rough sleepers as they receive the packages.
Amy in her vlog about the fundraising
Amy said: “I’m feeling really humble and grateful after taking the bags out.
“I’ve always wanted to help people. I feel it’s my calling in life.
“We really helped people. I got to meet a few people and it really made a big difference.
“A huge thank you to everyone who donated and helped me out.”
The items bought with people’s donations
The gift bags were filled with hats, scarves, gloves, blankets and water to help.
Amy worked with the Foxton Centre to ensure the gift packages got to the people who needed them most in Preston.
Money had been donated via the Gofundme website.
If you’d like to donate to the Foxton Centre you can via their website.
