A Preston pensioner has died after injuries sustained during a collision in mid-October.
Leslie Howell, 91, of Marlhill Crescent, Ribbleton, was readmitted to hospital after surgery and died on Saturday.
Mr Howell suffered a broken pelvis during the incident, around 12.50pm on Monday 12 October, involving a Fiat near Preston Guild Hall.
Police are now looking for a man who came to the pensioner’s aid as he lay on the floor in Wards End, off Lancaster Road.
