Police have launched a murder investigation after what they say was an altercation in Fishwick around 6am on Sunday.
Muslims had assembled at Great Townley Street, just yards from where Preston Police were carrying out a murder investigation.

The procession did not turn on music or take part in any chanting until it turned into Skeffington Road.
