Heavy rain and wind has been forecast for the next two days in Lancashire by the Met Office.
Wednesday will likely see wind and rain across the county with the potential for flooding. A yellow warning has been issued.
The chief forecaster for the Met Office said: “There remains some uncertainty around the locations to be most affected by this system but further heavy rainfall looks likely across pars of Scotland and northwest England.
“20-40 mm of rain is expected widely across high ground and there is a low likelihood of locally seeing 60-80 mm over the highest ground of these areas.
“Were this to occur renewed flooding is possible given the saturated ground and volume of water running through the river network.”
The weather seen at the weekend is not expected to be repeated.
The rain is expected to continue into Thursday although the wind should subside.
