A Preston man has been bailed in connection with the Fishergate Shopping Centre ‘bomb’.
The 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning and has been now been released by Preston Police on bail.
He was questioned on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
It followed a device being discovered and ‘going off’ in the mens toilet of the shopping centre toilet.
Preston Police said they were continuing their investigation and thanked the public for the support.

CCTV footage of man in the St George’s Shopping Centre, shortly before the device was found, is still valid and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The Fishergate centre was closed for the majority of Thursday after the bomb squad were called out.
