Cedarwood Coffee to start serving alcohol with later opening hours

A city centre coffee shop is applying to be able to sell alcohol.

The Cedarwood in Winckley Street would be able to service booze with new later opening hours.

Opened in March the coffee shop wants to be able to sell booze from 10am until 11pm on Monday to Sunday, closing its doors at 12midnight allowing an hours drinking up time.

It serves fresly ground Atkinsons coffee from Lancaster and has built up a strong following.
