‘Tis the season to soon be caroling. And here’s where you can join a service in Preston.
From professional choirs to your local church there are plenty of carol concerts to belt out the festive classics at.
Saturday 12 December
The One Voice Community choir sing at Sainsburys in Deepdale to raise money for the Baby Beat Appeal.
Sunday 13 December
Carol service at St Andrew’s in Tulketh Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, from 6pm
Wednesday 16th December
Lancashire Evening Post Carol Service at the Minster Preston, with @louisastirland
Friday 18 December
St Walburge’s Church has Christmas-themed music and carols from the Preston and Guardian Concert Bands. Free admission and starts at 7.30pm.
Saturday 19 December
The One Voice Community Choir’s Christmas concert takes place at Preston Minster from 7pm. It raises funds for Rock FM’s Cash for Kids charity to support Mission Christmas. Tickets are £8 for adults, £4 for children or £20 for a family of four.
Sunday 20 December
Tanterton Christian Fellowship, Kidsgrove, Ingol. From 4.30pm with carols by candlelight followed by mince pies and coffee. All welcome and free.
Longton Community Church takes over the Guild Hall from 7.30pm for its second Christmas celebration. It is free to attend.
St Stephen’s choir perform Carols at The Continental from 8.30pm. Free entry.
Louisa Stirland will be appearing and singing at a carol service at st Mary’s Penwortham from 6.00pm.

Tuesday 22 December
Emmanuel Church in Brook Street will bring Carols to The Eldon pub, Eldon Street, Plungington, from 8pm. Entry is free and everyone’s welcome to join in the festive spirit.
Christmas Eve
Christingle service at St Andrew’s Church in Tulketh Road. From 4pm.
