As the mist and fog of Autumn close in it’s worth taking a moment to step back to the summertime.
Andre Bisson has made a short film for Preston City Council showcasing a number of events which took place on the Flag Market.
The city’s main square has seen an increase in events being held after renovation work to the flags and the Cenotaph.
Moveable benches also mean the square can be rejigged quickly to allow more events to happen.
We’ve seen thousands attend the Armed Forces Day, including a major wrestling show as part of the event.
A food festival, a kids concert and a fun fair also feature in the Flag Market’s list of events as well as the Lancashire Encounter festival for the final weekend of September.
