Preston Remembrance Sunday services and parade details released

Preston will fall silent on Sunday to remember all those who fought to keep our city free.

Remembrance Sunday sees a parade come through the city centre to pay Preston’s respects to those killed in conflict.

The parade, led by the 4th Battalion Duke of Lancaster Regiment and 3rd Medical Regiment, starts at 10.25am.

It will make its way from the Covered Market, down Lancaster Road, into Church Street, Cheapside and into the Flag Market.

A service of Remembrance begins from 10.40am before a two minute silent from 11am.

On Wednesday 11 November to mark the day the First World War ended a short ceremony and two minute silent takes place at the Cenotaph from 11am.
