Imitation snow during the switch on
It was a pretty wet evening for all those people who attended the Christmas Lights switch on in Fishergate but judging by the smiles it was well worth the soaking.
The evening began with an up and coming band called Last Breathe and finished a couple of hours later with established artist and TV personality Alesha Dixon.
In between, we had local singers, pantomime, a choir and dance groups.
Great entertainment put on by the Preston BID team to light up the City Centre. Here are a few photographs from the event.
