Police are looking for a man after a teenage boy was pushed off his bike in Lea.

The 14-year-old victim was cycling home around 10pm on Monday 19 October.

He was attacked by a man in Blackpool Road near to the junction with Layton Road.

The man threatened him before pushing him off his bike and then making off with the black Norco Storm mountain bike.

DS Jerry Sturgess of Preston CID said: “This was an unprovoked and callous attack and I urge anyone with any information at all to come forward.”

The attacker is described as a white male, 5’9″ to 5’10” in height, in his mid to late teens, of skinny build and was wearing a grey zip up tracksuit with hooded top and a black balaclava.
