Left in Preston was founded in 2012 by Kirsty Higginson, and is a vibrant platform showcasing the creative talent from the cobbled streets of Preston. The website is dedicated to celebrating the culture of Preston, where people can view & enjoy your stories, poems, drawings, photography or letters which have been left in and around Preston.
It is now open to submissions for its very first digital anthology with the theme being ‘Winter in the North West of England’, and they are happy to announce that they will be accepting entries from everyone, anywhere in the world – not just Preston. Being the first anthology from Left in Preston they are keen to keep the theme fairly open and would love to see this from your perspective.
Flash fiction submissions can be up to 500 words.
For poetry submissions we will accept up 3 of your poems
Art and photography no bigger than A4 size
Work must be previously unpublished.
Please state if you are submitting your work simultaneously.
DEADLINE: DECEMBER 20th
We will respond as soon as possible, after the deadline.

**On publication day the anthology will be available to download for free. However, we will be printing and leaving limited copies of this anthology in and around Preston.
