Preston City Council are offering free internet and email tuition short courses for beginners. The Citizenzone vehicle, fully equipped with computers along with experienced tutors from Preston’s College, will be coming to a location near you. This will enable you to learn the basics of how to use a computer and how to browse the internet and use email.
Location 1 – MFA Bowl Car Park
The course is five weeks duration, including 3 x 2 hour internet taster sessions and 2 x 2 hour email taster sessions:
Morning sessions: 9:30am to 11:30am
Afternoon sessions: 12:30pm to 2:30pm
To be held at MFA Bowl Car Park. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Location 2 – Sherwood Pub Car Park
The course is five weeks duration, including 3 x 2 hour internet taster sessions and 2 x 2 hour email taster sessions:
• Thursday 15th October
• Thursday 22nd October
• Thursday 29th October
• Thursday 5th November
• Thursday 12th November
Morning sessions: 9:30am to 11:30am
Afternoon sessions: 12:30pm to 2:30pm
