TOWIE Star Joey Essex will shop with students at this year’s lock-in

Fans of The Only Way Is Essex, Ex On The Beach and Love Island are in for a treat as two well-known faces are set to join the student shop-in at St. George’s Shopping Centre.

The annual lock-in is a shopping event designed for the students of the city offering exclusive discounts, and TOWIE’s Joey Essex and Ex On The Beach star Vicky Pattison will be guests of honour for the 8th annual VIP shopping party.

Joey Essex found fame on TOWIE back in 2011 and has since gone on to star in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Vicky Pattison began on MTV’s Geordie Shore.

The stars will conduct a meet and greet throughout the evening and one lucky student will also be presented with a £1,000 cash prize.

Jon Clark, Hannah Elizabeth, Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech from ITV’s Love Island will also be making an appearance. Rock FM will be providing the music for the star-studded event and General Manager at St. George’s Shopping Centre, Andrew Stringer is pleased with the line-up, “The Student Shop-In is a major event in the St George’s calendar and we know it is one that students from far and wide look forward to every year.

The event kicks off at 6pm on Tuesday September 29.
