The winner has been picked for the Preston Bus Station design but who else applied?

All of the unsuccessful entries have now been revealed by the Royal Institute of British Architects who ran the competition on behalf of Lancashire County Council.

New York architect John Puttick scooped the contract with his design, but there were entries from elsewhere across the globe.

We’ve taken a spin through them to see just how the Preston Youth Zone and the Bus Station apron could have been designed.

Some are better than others, and we’ve been a little tongue in check but here goes as we plough through the tens of entries submitted…
