Police warning after spate of thefts from vehicles across Preston

A warning has been issued to Preston motorists to keep their cars and other vehicles secure after a number of thefts from vehicles.


Preston Police say a spate of insecure vehicles have seen items stolen from them across the city.

Ribbleton, Broadgate, Penwortham, Lostock Hall, Woodplumpton and Catforth have all seen vehicles targeted.

All vehicles targeted have been left unlocked.

Police are advising motorists to ensure their vehicles is locked and any valuables removed.

Any suspicious activity can be reported to the police on 101.
