Lea car crash: Inquest into Ribbleton men’s deaths announced

An inquest into the death of two men who died following a crash in Lea is to be held.


Anthony Butler,25, and Jack Hamilton, 24, both from Ribbleton, died in late June.

They were travelling in a gold Ford Focus when it left Sidgreaves Lane in Lea and collided with a tree.

Preston Police were initially investigating the incident but passed the matter to the coroner.

An inquest is due to take place on Thursday 5 November from 11am at Preston Coroners Court.
