The red canopy is part of the Lancashire Encounters Festival

The big red Lancashire Encounters Festival canopy is in place on Preston’s Flag Market and the area was a hive of activity on Friday, as last minute preparations continued for a host of different arts events throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the festival.

On Friday afternoon the UCLan Confucius Institute at University of Central Lancashire providing additional colour and entertainment with costumes, music and a Tai Chi demonstration. Here’s are a few pictures.
