Loading up the police van with the recovered alcohol
Police have seized hundreds of cans and bottles of contraband alcohol and packs of cigarettes in a raid.
A premises in New Hall Lane, Fishwick, was targeted and 2,500 packets of illicit cigarettes discovered.
Preston Police said they could not disclose the location of the premises, which was raided just after 9pm on Wednesday.

Officers from the licensing team, along with Lancashire Trading Standards, also discovered a large quantity of alcohol and money – all seized under the proceeds of crime act.
A spokesman for the police said: “This joint operation is done thank to intelligence received. A joint investigation is now ongoing.
“We are unable to comment further on the locatio of the premises and it will be for the courts to decide the disposal of the seized items.”
