Buy British Day is a Best of Britannia event coming to Preston this weekend.

A Buy British Day pop-up event is coming to Preston to encourage shoppers to support brands and businesses that design and manufacture in Britain.

The Best of Britannia event is the second of its kind to come to the city, and will also be visiting London to attract consumer support. Last year the national event was featured on BBC Breakfast and The One Show.

More than 200 of the best British brands will be showcased at the event, and will also feature retailers joining the pop-up stalls. These include The Leather Satchel Co and ‘free from’ chocolate specialist, Ayni Chocolate with more expected to be announced.

Plans have been lodged for work at Preston Station Pic: Tony Worrall

Buy British Day is visiting Preston this weekend on October 3 and 4 and will be at Fishergate shopping centre and the main concourse at Preston Train Station.

The Preston event for Best of Britannia Buy British Day is in association with Marketing Lancashire, Preston City Council, Virgin Trains and UCLan.
