A Preston animation student has released a short film about bullying.

Jordan King-McCoy, 21, used his own life experiences and phobias to put together Bitter Reunion.

The three minute clip from the Lostock Hall animator sees a doctor who discovers a patient he’s performing a crucial operation on is in fact a bully from his own childhood.

Mr King-McCoy said: “From looking at fears and anxieties, it evolved into this traumatic experience that this person has had.

“It looks at how he overcomes it, tries to be a better person and doesn’t take it out on the bully from his past. Basically, becoming a better man.”

“It’s been through a lot, when it started off it was completely different to the final project. It had more text and typography.”

The clip could now be entered into short film competitions and festivals as Jordan graduates from the University of Central Lancashire with a 2:1.
