Toy town Preston stretches out for miles to see on a quiet Sunday evening.

The sun catches the River Ribble as it heads out towards the sea in this fantastic aerial pictures.

Captured by a drone in Moor Park there are stunning views towards Fulwood, Deepdale and back into the city centre.

It shows the tightly packed housing of the Plungington Road area and off into the leafier suburbs of Fulwood.

Preston North End’s ground stands proudly to the East and the tower blocks of Avenham can be glimpsed with Winter Hill brooding in the far distance.

Beacon Fell is there as a dark fell beyond the far reaches of the suburbs, while Moor Park itself is a green oasis amongst a sea of red brick houses.

Nicola Martin took the pictures and video footage and wanted to share the chance to see Preston from a new angle.
