Other Worlds Festival is bringing a night of experimental music and sound art to the New Continental on Friday August 7.

Must Die Records have teamed up with They Eat Culture to host a collection of bands looking at the experimental nature of music and sound to provide an evening of unique experiences.

Preston Weekender advert

Fret, Stuart Chalmers and Imponderable Sound will perform, kicking off at 8pm. Fret, who are originally from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, have recently released their debut album which features raw sounding rock and drums.

Stuart Chalmers combines samples of classical to electronic music while Imponderable Sound promises a multi-sensory experience looking at the use of sound and music in frequency and receptors.

Tickets are available online through SeeTickets here or from the venue for £5.
