An arts project exploring the welcoming traditions of Preston is returning to the city.
The Oasis Social Club, brainchild of artist Rebecca Davies, makes its second visit to Preston with a Bingo day.
Ms Davies is working to create a “proper Prestonian” who will run the social club which is to pop up at various venues around the city.
On Saturday 5 September she will be at the Harris Library from 2pm to run a number of talks, before Preston Bingo takes place at The Continental in South Meadow Lane.
From 7pm you’re invited to try bingo, dancing and a raffle (meat and vegetarian raffles available).
The Social Club then moves to Preston Railway Station from Thursday 17 September to Saturday 19 September.
Last time it was there it saw commuters and Virgin Trains staff get put through their paces in a spontaneous fitness class.
The project is run in conjunction with They Eat Culture, an arts organisation exploring the cultural life of Preston.
