A new Bodycare store has opened on Fishergate, which created 10 new jobs.
AdvertisementThe new positions have already been filled, as the store opened on Saturday August 1.
Bodycare started in 1970 from a market stall in 1970 and has since grown to 132 stores operating from their distribution centre in Leyland.
The low-cost health and beauty store sells discounted soaps and hygiene products for both male and female as well as perfumes and make-up.
A spokesperson for the company said the new store is a result of the lease coming to an end in the Guildhall and so moved to a new location.
The store in the Fishergate Centre will remain open.
