Labour Party dismiss concerns that address confusion was a mistake

Concerns over different addresses found on Labour leadership ballot papers and pre-paid envelopes have been dismissed by the Labour Party.

Voters may have spotted that the address and postcode  on the paper itself is different to the address found on the envelopes which are used to return the vote.

The Labour Party have said that this is not a mistake, but is a part of a system used by Royal Mail when bulk replies are involved.

Votes sent to either of the two addresses will reach the Electoral Reforms services, who conduct the process on behalf of the Labour Party.
