A vital new space for children with learning disabilities in Preston and the surrounding area has opened.
Space 2 is a large sensory room at the centre in Ashton-on-Ribble which has been a long time coming.
The Space Centre, which was under threat of closure three years ago, was saved by a large fundraising campaign.
The Old Willows building work – now known as Space 2 – has cost half a million pounds to construct.
The room, which includes the biggest bubble tube in the sensory world, an illuminated ball pool, swings and bolster balance beams, has been seven years in the making.
Space Centre now has three sensory rooms available and is able to help lots more families in the Preston area.
