It perhaps wasn’t the warm, summer homecoming performance that she expected.

In fact it was cold, wet and windy but those lucky enough to be on the Flag Market on Tuesday lunchtime to witness singer Gemma Louise Doyle perform were treated to a superb vocal performance from this local, professional singer.

A little bit of bad weather certainly wasn’t going to stop from Gemma and as she started singing more people came to join the audience.

Gemma has been travelling the world singing and surprisingly this was the first time she had performed in the city centre of her home-town.

Se performs a wide range of songs from a variety of genres, including Pop, American Song Book, Musical Theatre and Popular classical hits.

It was a captivating performance and many people will no doubt be hoping to see Gemma performing locally again soon.
