In pictures: Preston basks in golden glow

Preston basked in the warm glow of summer sunshine earlier in the week before the rain came.

Gary Bond was out for a bike ride on Wednesday night and caught the city in a golden glow.

His pictures remind you how Preston can be a glorious place to be on a summer’s day.

The weather forecast for the next few days looks good for Monday and Tuesday with sunshine and temperatures of 20 degrees predicted.

Before the weather turns worse with train on Wednesday and Thursday, although temperatures remain around the 20 mark.

Gary’s pictures were taken on a section of the Guild Wheel from the Docks to Avenham Park.
