The New Continental has started to announce details of their 15th Beer Festival.

The pub, on the edge of Avenham Park, is responsible for some of the most popular events in the city thanks to the beer festivals.

The next beer festival will be held from October 1-4 and will feature over 150 real ales, beers and ciders.

There will also be BBQ food and music to provide sustenance and entertainment between the beer tasting.

More details about the beer festival have yet to be announced but the live music will likely be local favourites as is the tradition.

Thursday and Sunday will be free whereas Friday and Saturday will be £3 increasing to £5 after 6pm.
