How the proposed playground may look

A major retail park in Preston is set to get a childrens playground.

Deepdale Shopping Park’s owners have applied for planning permission to build a playground near the Eastern end of the retail park.

The playground would have a climbing frame, giant noughts and crosses as well as a playboat.

Indigo Planning Limited has tabled the plans on behalf of the park’s management the Deepdale Co-Ownership Trust.

The full plans are available to view on the Preston City Council website.

Anyone wishing to comment on the plans can do so there or by emailing devcon@preston.gov.uk quoting reference 06/2015/0631 by Saturday 29 August.
