The Flag Market has launched an events calendar for July.

You will have noticed new benches on the Flag Market with wheels making it possible to move them.

This allows the area to be used for a variety of events.

Councillor Veronica Afrin, Executive Member for Culture and Leisure

Services for Preston City Council, said, “We are excited to launch the events schedule for the summer and develop the Flag Market as a city centre venue for a wide range of activities.

“The lunchtime performances that will take place throughout the summer will bring added charm to the city centre, while the weekend events offer diversity that will cater to all ages.”

The events will include live music music, parades, food and drinks festivals, history re-enactments and so much more.
