Advance tickets to this year’s Preston Comic Con will come off sale at the end of the week.


After midnight on Sunday July 19 visitors will have to brave the queues on the day for entry into the event, leaving just under a week to guarantee yourself a place.

Preston’s Guild Hall will host the event on August 1 as special events and guest stars continue to be added to the line-up.

Fans of from the Hobbit trilogy, the Star Wars Saga, Harry Potter, Doctor Who and Game of Thrones are in for a treat as guests from each will be attending including David Prowse who played the original Darth Vader, Adrian Rawlins who played James Potter in the wizardry series and the actor behind R2D2, Kenny Baker.

Over 70 stalls will also be dotted around the event with the chance to buy collective memorabilia and guests will also be offering signed photographs and professional photo opportunities.

Organisers of Preston Comic Con are hoping to build on last year’s success with a bigger and better event for 2015.

Tickets are available on the Preston Comic Con store website and range in price for standard and early-bird tickets from £4 and £6 for children and £8 and £12 for adults. A gold package is also available.
