To celebrate St Catherine’s Hospice 30th anniversary we’ve teamed up with them to offer a Blog Preston a weekend pass to Symphony at the Tower.
The concerts take place on Friday 3 July and Saturday 4 July and you and a friend could be there to see both nights.
Status Quo headline on the Friday night while Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra, all male classical group Blake and Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Lucy Kay perform on Saturday.

The concerts are the final part of a string of events to celebrate 30 years of caring at the hospice.
Thursday 11 June sees a murder mystery night at the hospice put on by The Dark Knights theatre company.
A children’s celebration day takes over the hospice grounds during Sunday 14 June. Taz Entertainment are to wow kids with a mixture of comedy, music and magic.
Royal Ascot comes to the Lostock Hall hospice grounds with a marquee celebrating Ladies Day. A two course lunch is available and you can bet on the races via a big screen.
Sunday 21 June and the grounds are opened up for the annual Yellow Day garden fete. With stalls, games, a BBQ and freestyle football star John Farnworth to entertain the crowds.
On Tuesday 23 June there’s a 30th anniversary coffee morning, a nod to the coffee mornings in the 1980s which got the money for the hospice to be built.
A quiz night runs on Thursday 25 June with teams of up to six people seeking to win the crown.
A Bollywood night runs on Friday 26 June with dancing, Indian food and henna tattoos.
There’s a more relaxing event on the Saturday with two yoga sessions and a zumba party.
Sunday 28 June is the Great St Catherine’s Bake Off with five categories for budding bakers to compete in.
Fashion takes over on Thursday 3 July with a catwalk show in the grounds.
