CCTV pictures released in connection with the burglary

Pictures of two men have been released in connection with a burglary in Avenham in May.

A girl invited the two men into an address in Avenham Court after buying cigarettes from them.

While in the property around 12noon on Tuesday 26 May a 26 inch flat screen television was taken.

PC 3442 Hanif Patel from said: “The occupant’s daughter has naively invited these men in believing they had good intentions.

“If anyone has any information about this incident I would ask them to get in touch.

“I would say to the public to let this serve as a reminder not to invite strangers into your home.”
