Puppeteer attacked in Preston city centre

Police in Preston have released an image of a man wanted in connection with an assault on a puppeteer in the city centre.

A show was being performed on Monday 13 April in Orchard Street when the man pictured is said to have approached the stage.

He grabbed a puppet and pulled so hard the 49-year-old puppeteer was dragged from behind the stage curtain and to the ground.

Anyone with information is asked to call Preston Police on 01772 209637.
