Sam Buist is one of the driving forces behind the Preston Tringe arts festival
Preston’s independent arts festival returns to the city once more this summer.
The Tringe runs from Tuesday 28 July to Sunday 2 August and showcases a mix of comedy, theatre, music and performing arts in venues across Preston.
The brainchild of Korova Arts cafe founder Sam Buist the festival has grown since 2009 to become a mainstay of the city arts scene.
Opening with Gambit at Korova on Tuesday 28 July the play tells the story of two great chess grandmasters when they meet for the first time in 25 years.
The festivals ends with live music in Korova bar until late on Sunday 2 August. More details will be announced on the festival website in the coming weeks.
