Man charged in connection with Plungington schoolgirl assault

The incident happened in an alleyway between College Court and Ripon Street
A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault on a school girl.
AdvertisementThe man has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent.
He has also been charged with possessing a bladed article.
It is in relation to an incident which happened in an alleyway between College Court and Ripon Street in the Plungington area on Friday 12 June around 4pm.
He is due to appear at Preston Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
