MACs Bar will remain closed until June 12 after a court hearing was adjourned.
The hearing was to determine whether the venue would have to close permanently and the decision has been delayed for a full contested hearing to take place.
On Monday, MACs Bar was served with an order that meant it could not open for 48 hours until the outcome of the hearing.
The original statement from Preston Police said: “This afternoon we’ve served an interim closure order on a licensed premises in the City Centre. This closure order is part of the new Anti-social Behaviour legislation from last year.
“The premises is now not allowed to open for 48hrs, we’ll be looking at obtaining a court order on Wednesday to further the length of this closure. We’ll be providing further information on this in due course.”
