Lea car crash: Two people dead and another in hospital with serious injuries

A third person has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle crashed in Sidgreaves Lane in Lea.
The incident took place around 3.55pm and it is understood only one vehicle was involved.
Police closed the road from the junction with Darkinson Lane to Saddle Road for a number of hours on Monday.
Anyone who witnessed what happened is urged to contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting log number 824 of June 29th.
