KFC to stay put in historic Fishergate premises

KFC had decided not to renew their stay in Fishergate
Fried chicken restaurant KFC has decided to stay in its historic premises in Fishergate.
Home to the first Kentucky Fried Chicken in the UK when it opened in 1965 the management of the fast food outlet have decided to stay.
In November Blog Preston reported on how KFC had decided not to stay in the main shopping street, but it has since been confirmed they will not leaving.
Stephen Kane and Company said they were no longer marketing the premises to let.

When the news was announced in November it prompted outcry from fried chicken loving Prestonians.
