A temporary indoor kids play area could open on the edge of Preston city centre.
AdvertisementThe Brookhouse Group who own the Queen Street retail park have applied to turn a vacant retail unit into a fun factory.
A trampoline area, a childrens trampoline area, foam pit and party rooms would be created.
They state: “This proposal will generate activity and footfall to the retail park.
“This will further assist in generating the market activity and interest which will ultimately support occupier interest for the redevelopment of the remainder of the park.”
“The proposal will introduce a new exercise-based leisure use to Preston.”
The 2,353 square metre unit would be converted for two years.
They propose to open the indoor trampoline area from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 10pm on weekends.
Plans will be passed to Preston City Council’s planning committee for consideration.
The plans are available to view on the city council website.
