Loads of Dads in Preston love nothing more than a trip down to the curry house.

These are the five that we think your Dad would really appreciate being taken to.

East Z East has been enormously popular since it opened in 2009.

The dishes are incredibly authentic and the huge menu means that there’s usually something for anyone on the menu even if they’re not usually fans of Indian food.

The Silk Route

The Silk Route opened in 2014 to pretty strong reviews. We even went down ourselves to try it. Read about that here.

There’s a good chance you haven’t tried it yet and if that’s the case then you should.

Double Tree Indian

One Trip Advisor review called Double Tree the best posh Indian they had ever been to.

Like East Z East, Double Tree is healthy, authentic and offers something a little bit more than your usual curry house.

King Karai

Not every curry house needs to aim for the top of the market though.

You can go back after years and still be recognised and given a warm welcome. The food is plentiful, fuss free and delicious. Our review is here.

Indian Express

While not strictly a curry house, it has gained a reputation as one of the very best takeaways around. So it felt rude not to include it.

They get loads of awards and they’re also really active in the community. Fancy a night in? Give these a go.
