Curtis Eller’s American Circus will return to the New Continental next week.

The wild-eyed banjo playing vaudevillian has been a long time favourite of both The Ferret and the New Continental.

Their recordings send listeners on a dreamlike tour of American history in just the one evening.

This includes a parade of historical figures from Abraham Lincoln and Buster Keaton to Amelia Earhart and Joe Lewis.

Adam Shaw, of Ivan Campo will provide support for this gig on Wednesday, June 24.

Tickets are £6 advance from here or available for £7 on the door.

This gig is presented by They Eat Culture – an arts and cultural non-profit that injects cultural life into Preston.
